I annotated the article Racial Disparities in Health Status and Access to Healthcare by Yearby, R. (2018). This article looks into the well-established differences in wellness and access to healthcare linked to financial position and race. From emergency clinic care to healthcare coverage inclusion, the article explores how primary racism has led to a wellness framework that disproportionately harms Black Americans. To overcome these persistent discrepancies, Yearby promotes improvements to medical services and strategies. This source, which includes the need for specified arrangement mediations, is important for comprehending the basic barriers preventing equitable healthcare access. Annotation helps me Improve my Understanding, and Annotation Prepares me for Discussions and Writing. Annotations helped me to better understand the content and systemic racism in healthcare by including definitions of structural racism in my notes. The benefits of annotating include helping readers retain key information and gaining a greater comprehension of the content.

In the essay, the rhetorical situation involves key elements such as genre, purpose, audience, and context. This essay takes on a reflective and narrative style as I share impactful personal experiences that have shaped my personal development. As it explores instances of failure, mentorship, and lessons in trust to convey insights gained from these challenges. The purpose is to highlight how these experiences have nurtured his resilience, empathy, and appreciation for guidance, emphasizing how difficult times can lead to profound growth. My goals are to graduate college and be successful in life.

What has been confusing or what would you like to spend more time on? If the clarification/additional focus does not occur during class time, how will you acquire the knowledge?
In the last couple of weeks We have wrote an essay and did peer review Which helped me in my writing progress. where we also did the vignettes assignment. Where we only wroth the thoughts and then we wrote the whole essay on that that was iterating assignment for me. The only difficult part is going to the syllabus and do the reading before the class. But if I didn’t do the reeding I will not understand any thing I need to make this habit so I’m working on it. As a freshman it’s difficult. If there is no clarification I will ask to my peers and My professors or I will do tutoring.
