Prompt: What have you learned that has proved most useful to your composition process?
As I worked through the composition process, I realized how much I learned and gained from it. Initially, I found it quite difficult to start reading and truly comprehend what I was engaging with. However, once I began annotating, I was able to understand the material much better. Translating my thoughts into writing was also a significant challenge. Whenever I encountered writer’s block, I found it helpful to revisit the writing by re-reading the articles, which eventually allowed me to move forward.
Peer reviews were another essential part of the process. Although I initially found them somewhat frustrating, the feedback I received gave me a fresh perspective on my work and significantly improved my writing. Overall, a combination of annotating, re-reading, and receiving feedback proved to be the most effective strategies for my composition process.
