Prompt: Discuss your research sources. What media are you using? How do these different types of media support your topic/ideas? your writing work? 

The sources I am using in my research consist of articles and journals. I use articles and journals Because they go into great detail regarding how systematic racism manifests itself in biased police procedures, unfair sentencing, and police violence, these articles and periodicals provide credence to my writing. I find this useful since it provides data and concrete examples of institutionalized racism in law enforcement. I was somewhat aware of the existence of racism. Nevertheless, after reading these stories, I had a greater understanding of how serious it can be and how many people are unaware of it, which causes law enforcement to keep repeating these crimes because of their authority.
